Neil Austin

Director and Service & Installation Manager

Neil has over 8 years of swimming pool industry experience and prior to this spent many years in the Printing industry. The often short time frames and the requirement for perfection in that industry taught Neil the value of getting things right the first time. So many times Neil finds himself correcting other peoples lack of experience in the swimming pool industry and Neil has never walked away from a difficult problem.
 
He prides himself on matching the best possible equipment available that also aligns the customers request and budget constraints appropriately. Neil is the Shops chlorination expert and has a very good understanding with the numerous error codes or warning indicators that are highlighted by the many different types of units on the market today.
 
Neil is also the shops expert on swimming pool rejuvenation from Green or Black pools to crystal clear and perfectly balanced swimmable water. Neil has a strong relationship with the Real estate market place and fully understands the value of maintaining assets where the owner is not local and the property is rented out.
 
Neil is married to Christine and has three children Josh, Sara and Jake and is an avid golfer and member of Richmond Golf club

Greg Raby

Director and Shop Manager

Greg has over 15 years swimming pool industry experience and prior to this spent many years in Finance. He has a Degree in Financial services management and his roles in finance were always customer facing. Those years of customer exposure provided him with a unique problem solving ability.
 
Greg spent a number of years as a Swimming pool service Technician at a Swimart store before taking over the management of that Swimart Store in Sydney’s Western suburbs. He has had exposure to both residential and commercial swimming pool applications of many sizes and is also the shops Solar and pool heating expert.
 
He also has a focus on swimming pool automation and fully understands the value of a low maintenance swimming pool.
 
Greg is married to Vicki and has 2 children Aimee and Chris and is an avid golfer and member of Richmond Golf club.

Josh Austin

Shop Assistant Manager

Josh has over 3 years Industry experience and has spent time both on the road as a service technician and as the shop Manager. He joined the team here at Poolside Solutions in 2013 after spending over 2 years in another Sydney based pool shop.
 
Prior to this Josh was in the motor vehicle industry for a number of years. Josh prides himself on providing the best customer service the area and will always go that extra mile in getting you the best deal available. Josh is also the shops cleaner expert whether it be reviving and refitting your old cleaner or providing the best cleaner on the market for your individual circumstances and requirements.
 
Josh is soon to be married to Samantha and loves everything to do with cars.

Chris Raby

P/Time Assistant Road Technician

Chris has been working in this industry part-time both in the shop itself but more recently on the road servicing customer’s swimming pools. He is studying fulltime in the film production industry.
 
Chris works predominately with Neil Austin (Service Manager) cleaning and servicing swimming pools as well as new equipment installations and issue related service callouts.
 
Chris is too young to be married and is still playing the field. He enjoys computer gaming and anything in the film industry.

Lachlan Humphries

Casual Shop Assistant

Lachlan joined the business in 2013 and works in the shop testing your water and providing the best quality chemicals to ensure your pool is perfectly balanced and safe to swim. Lachlan is still at school but during school holidays he also works on the road during our busy time assisting Neil with service work and installations.
 
Chris works predominately with Neil Austin (Service Manager) cleaning and servicing swimming pools as well as new equipment installations and issue related service callouts.
 
Lachlan loves computer gaming and also assists his father in Kitchen renovations.

Jarrah Speers

Casual Shop Assistant

Jarrah also joined the business in 2013 and works in the shop testing your water and providing the best quality chemicals to ensure your pool is perfectly balanced and safe to swim. Jarrah is still at school but during school holidays he also works on the road during our busy time assisting Neil with service work and installations.
 
Jarrah is a NSW junior Soccer representative. (Goalkeeper)

John Raby

Bookkeeper

Every Tuesday John is in the office looking after the behind the scenes operations of running a business. John handles both accounts receivables and accounts payable and importantly he pays all the staff so he is always well looked after by everyone else that works in the business.
 
John is a retired Police officer and keen fisherman and also volunteers with the NSW Marine rescue organisation.

Phil Raby

Director and internal accountant

Phil spent many years in a number or large Australian based Multinationals in Finance director and financial controller roles. He is a qualified accountant and more recently provided accounting solutions to a large number of businesses in the small business market segment. Phil is now semi-retired and does have a number of off shore businesses.
 
Phil is married to Siripun and has 2 daughters Sarah and Emma. Phil is also an Avid golfer (although he’s not real good).
